Toolbox

The Toolbox is a panel that contains all the components you can add in order to construct your simulation. What appears in the Toolbox is contextual depending on what kind of component you are editing.

In the Part Editor, you can choose different types of geometry shapes and collision types (collision, buoyancy, or drag). For more information, see Creating Parts and Geometries Manually.
You can also reference 3D Models and Graphics Galleries.

In the Assembly Editor you can insert a Part, Constraint, or Collision Rule, as well as reference Graphics Galleries.

In the Mechanism Editor you can insert an Assembly, 3D Reference Model, Vegetation Library, Graphics Gallery, Graphics Material, Texture, Role, VHL Interface, Collision Rules, Connection Container, Extension, Configuration, Metrics, and a Python Script Extension.
You can also insert the following if you have purchased the add-ons:

In the Scene Editor you can insert a Mechanism, Vegetation Library, Graphics Gallery, Graphics Material, Texture, Role, Collision Rules, Connection Container, Material Table, Extension, Metrics, and a Python Script Extension.
You can also insert the following if you have purchased the add-ons:
In the Setup Editor, you can insert an Extension, a node, a seat or a module. You can also add a 3D reference model or reference Graphics Gallery. Finally, a number of setup presets are available.
In the Graphics Gallery Editor, you can insert a node, a material, a texture, or a VHL interface. You can also add a 3D reference model.
