CM Labs Showcase Off-Road Vehicle Simulation Capabilities at ITEC 2017

Montreal, May 4, 2017 – CM Labs, a global provider of simulation and visualisation solutions for personnel training and virtual equipment prototyping, announced today the solutions on display at its ITEC annual forum stand, from May 16 to 18, 2017.

Attendees can visit CM Labs at Antycip’s stand 17C, where they will have the occasion to experience the full range of ground vehicle, maritime piloting and logistics equipment simulation and visualisation capabilities delivered by CM Labs’ simulation platform, Vortex Studio. Featuring a fully-modeled M-ATV in an off-road patrol scenario, CM Labs’ driver trainer simulator demonstrates the high level of realism delivered by Vortex Studio’s soft ground modeling engine.

The company will also be showcasing the latest version of its unified simulator development platform, Vortex Studio 2017b. The upcoming release extends the capabilities of Vortex Studio’s intuitive desktop applications. It provides new tools that allow simulation integrators to connect user controls and configure a simulator’s computing and display architecture using a codeless point-and-click interface.

These new tools will be available to Vortex Studio users next June, including customers using the free Essentials edition of Vortex Studio. Launched in March, Vortex Studio Essentials grants simulation creators access to Vortex Studio’s desktop applications, multibody dynamics and vehicle simulation engine, as well as its integrated visualisation system. Attendees can visit CM Labs’ pod at stand 17C or visit cm-labs.com/essentials to learn more about Vortex Studio Essentials.
