bauma Forum: Training for the Worksite of Tomorrow

New technology has not yet reached the stage of seamless, frictionless adoption. Operating safely and effectively requires an equally sophisticated skillset – one of the biggest hurdles in construction. There are a number of factors to consider: overcoming hidden costs, infrastructure readiness, buy-in, training, and competency evaluation. Exposure to next-generation technology using simulator training and assessment provides a window into new workflows, processes, and skillset adaptations, before working on the actual equipment. Operators and management can work together to tweak and test how technology affects construction and operations, without risking safety, productivity, or equipment.
