Feb 17, 2017 – According to CM Labs Simulations based in Montreal and developer of Vortex training simulators, IUOE Local 14 has selected Vortex simulator along with Crawler crane and Rough Terrain crane training modules for its training center in New York.
The Vortex training simulators provide various benefits of cost savings, training flexibility and particularly focused on safety. “It’s definitely safer. The trainees are more confident because they know what’s going to happen. The reactions of the load and the rigging and the load line were so realistic in the Vortex simulator, it’s incredible” stated Tom Gordon, the Local’s Co-Director of Journey Person and Apprenticeship Training.
