CM Labs Simulations offers a run time physics engine which allows people to experience heavy equipment operation in a simulated environment. Referred to as human-in-the-loop simulation technology, it enables a more realistic experience than previously capable, says Drew Carruthers, Director of Product Strategy at CM Labs Simulations.
OEMs can use this simulation technology to test operator interface designs and get more immediate feedback from operators about the design. The OEM can then make changes based on this feedback, helping to speed up the overall design process and get a product which suits machine operators’ needs to market faster.
