Montreal, QC, January, 2021 — CM Labs Simulations, developer of Vortex® training simulators, has expanded its Forestry product line with the release of the Harvester Training Pack. Designed in collaboration with industry experts, both from the perspective of the curriculum as well as machine design and behavior, it’s the only solution on the market that simulates the harvesting cycle in detail so operators learn to proficiently control the felling direction, delimb a tree, and cut-to-length based on requested specs.
The Harvester along with the Forwarder Training Pack are sold in a bundle and provide training organizations with comprehensive education for forestry operators — from roadwork with CM Labs’ Earthmoving Training Packs, and now, cutting and moving timber. Both training packs currently run on CM Labs’ desktop Vortex Edge Plus and the motion-enabled Vortex Edge Max simulators.
