Ship Pedestal Crane Simulator

Increase trainee and operator productivity with the Ship Pedestal Crane Simulator Training Pack.

Overview

CM Labs’ Ship Pedestal Crane Training Pack can run on any Vortex port equipment simulator, and helps operators acquire critical skills for transferring different loads to and from the ship and the platform. The Training Pack accurately models the cable physics which creates accurate behavior and allows for skills development, such as learning to “catch the swing” with different types of attachments, landing the spreader, and using cell guides to load containers.

Progressive training exercises develop operator skills for handling bulk and breakbulk (including pipes, coils, bags, rebar, and steel plates) as well as container unloading (20, 40, and 45-foot containers). Additional exercises cover lifting forklift and hatch covers.
