This video shows the simulation of Wind Turbine erection using a Liebherr crawler crane. (Note that the tailing crane is not shown in the video) This is part of the comprehensive Vortex training solution for operator training in wind turbine erection. The training includes the lifting of mast sections, the nacelle and the rotor assembly. Two simulators can be linked to perform training for the tandem lifts as well.
