CM Labs x elobau at bauma 2025: Boost Training and Marketing ROI with Custom OEM Simulation

CM Labs teams up with elobau at bauma 2025 to showcase how custom OEM simulators can support operator training and elevate your product marketing. With authentic controls and real-world physics, this solution makes safe, cost-effective training a reality.

Hi, my name is Kristyna. I'm here with CM Labs. We're on elobau’s booth here at bauma 2025. We are a simulation company based in Canada. We've been around since 1996, and we specialize in building training simulators for heavy equipment operators.

Here we have Yannick operating on our Advantage one screen display. He's operating an excavator currently right now, and as you can see, you've got the elobau joysticks on our simulator. So we've integrated their controls onto our simulator to showcase them, but also to get feedback from some of the operators in the industry on how they feel in their hands, how the buttons work, where the sensors are located.

So some of the benefits for an OEM, having a simulator like this is going to be marketing. It's also going to be great for training operators on heavy equipment on their real controls. We've got a real physics engine implemented into it. So this makes it feel pretty identical to what you'd be operating in the real world. We've also got a really large breadth of equipment on it. So we've got about 22 machines currently that you could purchase on every simulator with different controls being implemented. We're working on a couple more this year, so every year we're coming out with more and more machines. We do a lot of custom work as well. So if you want a machine that we don't currently have, we can always create that for you as well. Of course, a lot of companies don't necessarily want to throw a brand new operator who's never operated heavy equipment into the real world on real equipment. It can be very costly if something breaks or gets damaged in the process of training, so simulators are a great way to introduce new operators into the world of real heavy machinery and equipment. Start off the training on that, and then move over maybe to the heavy equipment in the real world.

If you have any other questions on our simulators or you maybe want to partner on a simulator like this for a trade show, you can head to www.cm-labs.com to find out more.
