The Forwarder Simulator Training Pack was developed in collaboration with industry experts and allows trainees to experience challenging scenarios in a completely immersive environment.
Every simulated machine component is backed by precise engineering specifications provided by Tigercat Industries to ensure realistic behavior and maximum training value. Students gain exposure to the largest and widest variety of simulated terrains on the market, and as a result, transition faster and more effectively to the real equipment.
The Forwarder Simulator Training Pack’s curriculum was developed in consultation with forestry and logging training schools to ensure students acquire the right skills and techniques for safe and productive operations. With its large immersive environment the simulator is fully equipped with multiple tree species, night-time operations, as well as different weather conditions like fog, rain, or snow.
From control familiarization to advanced techniques, trainees progress through an industry-approved curriculum and learn how to operate the vehicle, crane, and grapple, as well as how to manipulate logs. Exercises provide students with the experience of driving off road, over rocks, slopes and tree stumps as well as exposure to night-time operations and different weather conditions.
