CM Labs and Bailey International Team Up to Launch Custom Demo Simulator at Utility Expo 2025

Powered by CM Labs simulation technology, attendees can test-drive Bailey’s Sure Grip Controls joysticks working in concert with its hydraulic systems at booth #N1249

MONTREAL, QC, October 7, 2025 — CM Labs Simulations, the leading vendor for simulation-based training solutions in the utilities, construction, and ports industries, has partnered with Bailey International, a leading manufacturer of mobile hydraulics and electronic controls to debut a custom-built marketing simulator at The Utility Expo, taking place on October 7-9 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Powered by CM Labs’ simulation core technology, this highly mobile demo simulator delivers a true-to-life hands-on operational experience. It showcases Bailey’s Sure Grip Controls joysticks and is the first of its kind to bring together Bailey’s hydraulic and electronic divisions as a unified front. Attendees can operate the joysticks, get real-time feedback on a display cylinder, and feel how Bailey’s hydraulic and electronic systems work in unison to deliver precise, responsive control.

“Our goal is to deliver a true ‘fingertip-to-tool tip’ experience that lets customers feel the responsiveness and quality of our Sure Grip Controls products,” said Brianna Henderson, Senior Marketing Manager at Bailey. “The launch of this new marketing simulator at The Utility Expo marks an exciting milestone, and we’re honored to be part of bringing this next-generation solution to the market.”

This highly mobile simulator is built for easy transport and features integrated CM Labs-powered technology. The unit includes an adjustable monitor, an instructor display, and a hands-on station where attendees can operate a virtual excavator using the same joystick controls found in real machines. The result is a professional, mobile friendly solution that delivers an engaging, interactive experience at the Utility Expo and other industry events.

“This project with Bailey International is a powerful example of how simulation can go beyond training to become a high-impact tool,” said Devon Van de Kletersteeg, Product Growth Manager for CM Labs. “By replicating real machine response with precision, we’re helping Bailey deliver a hands-on product experience that’s both memorable and measurable. It’s a testament to what’s possible when two innovation-focused teams collaborate.”

Building this ultra-realistic demo simulator for Bailey, CM Labs highlights how its simulation technology can be tailored to help other OEMs showcase product performance through creative marketing solutions. Experience the simulator in person at CM Labs’ booth #N1249 during The Utility Expo 2025, or contact the sales team to explore a custom solution for your organization.
