Mr. Robert Weldon

Robert Weldon studied symplectic geometry, dynamical systems, and modern mechanics at the University of California (Santa Cruz and Berkeley), before working as a developer and a consultant in the computer graphics and computer games industries.

Before founding CM Labs, Robert was the project manager of MathEngine’s Karma physics toolkit for games, Vice President of Research and Development at Velocity Games, and Technical Director at PostLinear Entertainment.

Dr. Arnold Free

Arnold Free is CM Labs’ Chief Commercial Officer. Arnold brings more than 20 years of experience in growing engineering software businesses.

Prior to joining CM Labs, Arnold was President of Metrix, a technology company focused on 3D manufacturing software. Previously, Arnold was VP Business Development at MAYA, a company specializing in engineering simulation software. Arnold graduated from Cambridge University, UK, with a doctorate in engineering and has a broad design, R&D, and software engineering background.

Dr. Marek Teichmann
Vice President, Research

As Vice President, Research, Marek Teichmann brings his unique combined software, geometry, and robotics experience to CM Labs. Marek completed his PhD in computer science at the Courant Institute, NYU, in the field of Computational Geometry and Robotics, working on theoretical and practical aspects of grasping and fixturing.

Marek was collision group leader at Lateral Logic, a developer of visualization and simulation software technology. Marek continued this work at MathEngine, where he designed and implemented advanced collision algorithms as part of computer simulations of rigid-body dynamics systems.

Mr. Sylvain Lagacé, Eng.
Vice President, Finance and Operations

Sylvain Lagacé is CM Labs’ Vice President, responsible for the company’s finances, operations, contracts, legal dossiers, and human resources. Sylvain has a wealth of experience fostering strategic growth in hi-tech product & service companies, as well as extensive expertise in M&As, corporate subsidies, and international expansion.

Prior to joining CM Labs, Sylvain was Director of Corporate Affairs at Averna (Montreal), where he implemented strategic processes and structure for sustaining growth. Sylvain graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1995 with a B.Eng.

Lorne Goloff Vice president Sales

Mr. Lorne Goloff
Vice President, Sales

Lorne Goloff has over two decades of experience in technology sales management. He has a track record of establishing direct, channel partner, and OEM sales channels across the globe to empower success. As Vice President of Sales, he is leveraging his experience to lead the growth of the global sales team at CM Labs.

Prior to joining CM Labs, Lorne was Vice President of the Selection Services Business Unit for Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC). As Managing Director he was responsible for the development, sales, and delivery of TEC’s selection services offerings. Lorne graduated with an undergrad degree from McGill University and an MBA from Concordia University.

Ms. Lisa M. Barbieri
Vice President, Marketing

Lisa Barbieri joined CM Labs as Vice President of Marketing in 2016 where she oversees strategies, communications, media relations, demand generation, product marketing and partner marketing.

Prior to joining CM Labs, Lisa was Head of Marketing at Matrox where she led a team of two dozen professionals across a range of disciplines to handle the global marketing management of three business units. With a career bridging stops in Pharmaceutical; Machine Vision; Consumer Products; and Advanced Graphics, Video, and Imaging Processing High Tech, Lisa enthusiastically marries research, innovation, and execution.

Amplifying her Commerce degree from Concordia University, Lisa’s Web Intelligence Certification from University of California Irvine emphasized analytics and big data. She has consistently applied an evolutionary approach to upgrading personnel and tools to handle dynamic global markets.
