CMLabs announces new Vortex Training Simulator product line

CMLabs partners with OETIO to deliver operator training simulators and curricula

February 14, 2006 – Montreal, Canada — CMLabs Simulations Inc., the leading supplier of real-time physics-based simulation software and services, announces the availability of the new Vortex Training Simulator product line in collaboration with the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Ontario (OETIO).

CMLabs’ Vortex physics engine is the basis of the heavy equipment simulators, while the OETIO provides their award winning training curricula, resulting in a proven and validated product for the operator training industry. The first products in the series, Vortex Mobile Crane and Vortex Tower Crane, are now ready to ship.

The OETIO has now trained several classes of operators on the Vortex Mobile Crane training simulator with great success.

About OETIO
Founded in 1982 as a labour/management initiative, the OETIO is now internationally recognized as a first-class training facility for crane and heavy equipment operators. The OETIO’s primary mandate is to provide safety, operator, and maintenance training for Ontario’s construction industry.
